All our gates are produced with care and attention to detail, and subject to continuous development.

The timbers we use are 61mm x 95mm for the main frame, and all held together with mortice and tennon joints.
We then clad the gates in boarding which provides maximum strength, with minimum weight. Remember that boarding adds no strength to the gate, it is only to stop anybody looking through!

The top rails are rounded to act as a water shed, and the gates are sealed in the areas most likely to get attacked by water.
