The frame of our Wooden Gates are made from 95mm x 61mm and fixed using mortice and tennon joints. We then groove these components for the cladding(boarding) to sit in which protects the end grains.

The Top Rails of our Wooden Gates are rounded to act as a water shed and we also seal the wooden gates with frame sealant to keep as much moisture out as possible.

A 3/4, 1/4 Gate is a wooden gate which does not open in the middle instead one panel is 1/4 the total width, the other 3/4’s the total width. The 3/4, 1/4 gates are best constructed where the design has a flat top. Although this can be applied to most other designs. Add 3/4, 1/4 as an option to your double gate.
